| Nightwish – Nightquest Lyrics | 19 years ago |

It's just a cute song without any deeper meaning (but f course it's not senseless either) And it's about band members - each part is abutone of them: Storyteller, The Pied Piper is Tuomas Led by a maid - Queen of the night is Tarja A merry minstrel with his fingers fast obviously Emppu A warrior of power along the path - um... could be Wilska or Sami? no not marco, he wasn't with the band I am the mastermind, the wizard to show the way is Tero, their manager |

| Nightwish – The Carpenter Lyrics | 19 years ago |

grail? carpenter? saviour? crucified? if Tuo didn't write about Christ he shouldn't have used those words. Anyway, RainbowDeamon just said it right, the song isn't a christian song in the real meaning of that word. It's a song inspired by the person of Jesus |

| Negative – The Moment of our Love Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
It's a beautiful song about love. well - for me it means, that it doesn't matter what exactly shall "love" mean, because that's only how people called it, it's just a word, just a name, and real love is the moment that he feels. |

| Nightwish – Wish I Had an Angel Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
um, quiffporn, you don't have to agree with people here who love Nightwish, you don't have to agree with me that Tuomas's lyrics are very good, but WHY THE HELL do you waste your time with writing it here?? You won't convince anyone and you know it. And this song is also about sex, but mainly about lost innocence, and sex is only an example. It's about wishing to be innocent again. |
|
| Nightwish – The Carpenter Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Yes, it is about Jesus Christ, but it is again unique. Described in unusual way, Jesus isn't a perfect person in this song. It's also about mankind and our aproach to gods, faith, religion and so on. | |
| Nightwish – Slaying The Dreamer Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| this song is from his heart. it is a song about treason. | |
| Nightwish – Planet Hell Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
It's somehow reffering to religions in general, Christian, Greek (Mother Gaia and ferryman) and sorry can't find any others, but you can feel the presence. What is "the Ark"??? Yes, Planet Hell is this world, and we brought it to a terrible state full of wars and fights. Save yourself a penny for the ferryman? When Psyche entered the Underworld, she took a cake (sth like that, sorry) for Kerberos and a penny for Charon, and she was supossed to have the penny on her tongue and open her mouth. |

| Nightwish – Nymphomaniac Fantasia Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Hand of Meadhros: sweet loving, my darling, did you miss me? Deeper shall be the wound between your legs!!! :D Tuomas and the band keep saying they hate this song and that it was a mistake. I love it. It's from woman's point of view - she comes home, finding out he was with another woman, and she decides for a revenge, a sexual one. |

| Nightwish – Nemo Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
hey people. just a little comment. there are not TWO theories. Nemo means nobody, no one, without a name. Why do you think Jules Verne amazingly unique character was called Nemo? Because if this meaning, of course. Captain Nemo is lost. Nemo in this poem is lost as well. It is a song about all this you wrote, but since people relate the name with Verne novel, Tuomas made the verses sound like from the sea, from the ocean, from the depths. |

| Nightwish – Feel For You Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
this song is again for a woman's point of view, though we know Tuo wrote it. Yes, she loves him desperately. really badly. He was her first "real", "strong" love. He broke up with her. And she tries to tell him and the world that she doesn't want him any more, that she doesn't need him. But he knows very well that he still has the control over her. |

| Nightwish – Elvenpath Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
It is childish, but isn't ever dream of our hearts childish? it is about longing for a diffrent world, world of books, world of dreams. world of witches, Bilbo, elves, Beauty and the beast... |

| Nightwish – Dead To The World Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
still can't figure out what it is about. yes, Century Child could be Jesus, and he gave comfort to the fallen - but the rest doesn't suit to this idea. maybe it's about not being satisfied with your own life. Tuomas writes his lyrics as his most personal poems, therefore this is about desiring more from life, and yet feeling that this "more" is not the best... Dunno how to tell more clearly. It's like... When you feel you have to change something, but you know that if you do change, it will be still bad... There is no innocence in this world any more. Take me away, Heaven queen. |
|
| Nightwish – Come Cover Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Nah, try to be a little more down-to-earth. It's great song. But it is basically erotic one. It's simply about sex. But written in a unique way, Tuomas know what he is doing:) | |
| Nightwish – Astral Romance Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
AerithBR... very nice. but I always thought... She is entering the realm of dead, she is free from the bounds of this world, and she is happy, because the light of afterlife is leading her to her beloved one. And in this moment we hear him singing (Tuomas's beautiful voice!!), that in the moment of his death he found out about her love. In the moment of dying he asked her to marry him, to be by his side. And now she died they can finally fulfil their dream and be together. It is a song with deeper meaning. Not but the story it is about. It is about love itself. That there is nothing more important and eternal than love. That there is nothing to stop love, not even death. |
