| Between the Trees – The Way She Feels Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| yeah, this song astounds me. cutting is such an issue these days... i personally haven't had a struggle with it (thank God for that), but i have had friends very close to me who have. i really think the issue isn't very properly adressed... at all. it seems like to so many people, cutting is a joke and they just label it as being emo when it is an EXTREMELY serious issue that needs to be dealt with before it escalates into something even worse. as for the song, "He", i think, definitely is Christ. He feels our pains, he knows what it's like and He can offer us relief and hope. He never said it would be easy, but he is with us. | |

okay, here's what i think (this hasn't been brought up yet). I tried again, I fell again To find out for myself It hurts For a lifetime i think this talks about trying to find fulfillment and satisfaction and purpose in things apart from Christ. the rest of the song i think talks about when we do cling to Christ and put our hopes in him, we feel filled and healed "With your photograph to sooth the scars" thats what i say. |

I've held everything and nothing all at once And all at once been altogether broken This talks about how no matter how many things we have that still won't give us the happiness that we get through the Lord Jesus Christ. All the bits in this song about scars is talking about how the world can be a very hurtful place. Then on the line "even scars fade with time, only you remain" talks about the amazing healing power of God. "and my determination is not enough" talks about how we can not achieve happiness just on our own, we need to get God's help. great song. |

| I'm pretty sure it said in HM magazine that it's about eliminating a negative habit or trait. | |
| Haste the Day – Ros King Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| i see it as being a song about knowing somebody that does not know Christ. "Without Him your whole world falls to dust". i think its kind of sad with the ending "and thats the one last thing i wanted to say before you died". it really sends the message to me that life is unexpecting and you never know how long certain people are going to be around, so you should try and make a diffirence in their lives while you can. i really like this song. | |
