Faith In The Faux Lyrics

You have to be kidding me
It must be buried three inches deep
and no one is here to help dig it out
And, I am not suprised because they will no doubt take your word
("Everyone loves juicy gossip")
So I guess I'll just sleep it off (On my stomach of course)
And whenI see you next Ill kill you with a smile

I think this part is about a friend backstabing him

So I guess I'll just sleep it off (On my stomach of course) And whenI see you next Ill kill you with a smile

and this part is about him just shaking it off and going on with his life

yeah, this song is about a friend back-stabbing him

You have to be kidding me It must be buried three inches deep (a metaphor speaking of the knife in his back) and no one is here to help dig it out And, I am not suprised because they will no doubt take your word (all his friends have sided with his friend who back-stabbed him and they've all left him) everyone loves juicy gossip (speaking of the rumors his friend probably spread about him)

So I guess I'll sleep it off (on my stomach of course) [he's saying he has to sleep on his stomach because the knife is in his back]

And when i see you next time I'll kill you with a smile [he'll just smile at his friend next time he sees him, everyone knows nothing is worse than when you say rude things about someone and that person just smiles at you and treats you nicely]

wtf the ("Everyone loves juicy gossip")

...part doesn't sound like it at all, in fact it's more like "Dream for tomorrow" or something. I might be wrong though, i dunno... also So I guess I'll just sleep it off (On my stomach of course) What's with the part in paranthesis, I can't hear it at all

I think it's about someone betraying him, and he sees them in a whole new light. He sees that they have faith in things that aren't real (faux), and instead of being mad and getting bent over it, he "kills them with kindness." That is one of the things that Jesus taught, and since Nodes was/is a christian band (they considered themselves a christian band on the first 3 albums, but when they signed with victory records, they had to take themselves out of that genre, but if you look at the lyrics from "defined by struggle" (4th album) it is pretty clear that their message was still Christ).

The lyrics that are sung are different than on the booklet. "so I guess, I'll just sleep it off, wait for tomorrow."
