I thought this was odd... at http://www.junk-mag.com/words/reviews.htm under "Are The Killers Gayer Than Fitness Fridays?", the writer calls this song "overtly homoerotic". did anyone else feel there was a gay meaning to this song?? |

I also thought that the line was "get your eyes off my Pride", and not Bride, as in, someone is checking him out at a party but he doesn't need to "satisfy" anyone tonight. but at the same time, the whole thing that june_star_99 wrote does make sense... |

I have always loved this song, but it wasn't until now that i knew who it was by. she has a great voice. this song is obviously about talking someone you know out of suicide....it's so sad and hopeful. great use of words. |
