i think i remember reading about why she wrote this song.. maren ord was volenteering for something at school.. and she helped talk this younger girl out of suicide.. its a really touching song.. i love it!! Maren Ord has a wicked way with words!
i agree... maren ord rocks i randomly found her about 3 years ago, got a bunch of her songs and then like a month ago i turned on much music and saw her video on. strange but cool :)
This song is so real, and it asks a great question.. would it truly matter to a suicidal person if the world was a little more perfect? I don't really like Maren Ord.. too preppy, but I do love the lyrics to this song

I have always loved this song, but it wasn't until now that i knew who it was by. she has a great voice.
this song is obviously about talking someone you know out of suicide....it's so sad and hopeful. great use of words.
that song has helped me a few times.. i think it fits with the movie crazy/beaituful because it's like between charlos (?) and nicole.. he opened her eyes to wake up and love life. and also opened his own eyes to stop and smell the roses sometimes.. it's a touching movie. that's how i found this song.. the soundtrack.. i was like 15. lol

it means so much to just have someone reminding me of eveyrthing that's important to me when things aren't going well. what a great song.
This song really touched me as I knew someone who had committed suicide. We were not really close friends, but it seemed he did not have very many friends. I had wondered if there were something I could have done that could have helped him through what I found out afterwards to be a very rough time. He ultimately took his own life.
