I have a very good quality 8:59 copy including some of the talking from the show. It was on an episode BBC's Omnibus, a special about the moonlanding titled What If It's Just Green Cheese?. It's a great song, a jam that reminds me of basically all the the jammy songs of pre Darkside. Supposedly the made it all up on the spot. |

Roger Waters is an amzing song writer this is probaly my second favourite floyd song, behind CWTAE, echoes, and pigs (three different ones) and tied with cymbaline. The book Childhood's End is amazing. |

My initial thought was that the joker is the man and the thief of the night/the girl represents rebels/rockers. Alway's looking out for the man to try to destroy opposition. I think thats what the girl is supposed to represent in the album. At least that gives it so much meaning, but then again it could be anything.. hehe |
