it could be that their unhappy (miserable) about what fall out boy has become, it's not what they wanted it to be in the begininng (Far from the genuine Becoming) - but their stunning in the limelight like most famous stars are, so they'll just enjoy the fame & money while it lasts. i think they are saying a big thank you to their original fans who believed in them & are still into them even when famous - the "diehards". they know that all the scene kids that are into them atm will lose interest when they arent poster boys anymore so their not "making an acceptance speech". the chorus could be reffering to the emo stereotype of how they overcome heartbreak & Pete's taking the piss by saying "I can take your problems away With a nod and a wave Of my hand 'Cause that's just the kind of boy that I am" because he knows his not...but that's how FOB is seen by scene kids. It's a message to the "diehards" saying their still the same FOB at heart, their just making money from the "scene". He's generally opposed to these scene kids who pretend to like them because they think it's cool, but their not going to say no to the money their making so they'll play along with it til it dies. |

could be about a short-lived romance from the girls perspective - probably lasting about a month or less seeing as she doesn't have that many great memories. They finally have sex then he dumps her so she's getting back at him or trying to fix her low self esteem by having a one night stand then rubbing it in her ex's face saying "thanks for the memories even though they weren’t so great. He tastes like you only sweeter" well that's how i see it anyway, songs can be interpretted differently i guess according to ur experiences & beliefs. |

| I might be reading too much into this but I think this song might be about someone who's family is quite rich & materialistic as a result. she's in a relationship with someone who isn't but she can't love him because she doesnt know how to because she never received it from her family, she can't open up to anyone about her problems so she needs to run away from it all but she can't so she'll pretend that evrything's ok. | |

i first heard this song on CSI & i typed the lyrics up in a search engine and downloaded it. beautiful song, makes me cry whenever i hear it :( i think the song is about self harming & depression because of being alone. she needs a close friend to help her overcome it all. I can relate to this. |

for me. this song is about him having "half-friends", friends that are his friends but aren't because he's not close to them & cant talk to them and tell them how he feels because they don't really care. so he's saying take me and let me in, so he can have someone to talk to because he feels shut out & alone and wants to be part of something. thats how I interpret the song and i can really relate to that because i'm in the same situation right now:-( |
