This song is amazing. I agree with what Yuyi says. I'm not sure about the buildings metaphor, but if you're just looking at it basically, obviously it's about how things change and are so different these days. |

Landlocked Blues is my favorite song on I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning. Maybe my favorite Bright Eyes song altogether. I think the version on Motion Sickness is beautiful, but not as wonderful as it is with Emmylou Harris on the album. "One Foot In Front of the Other" is an awesome song too, but so different. I like that Conor gave it a new name and a new feel. It's perfect. |

I really liked this song. I think it was the best song on Lagniappe. Kasher just has a way with making his voice sound so emotional on the parts that it should. Another wonderful Cursive song. |
