Well I first heard of this song when my gf told me she was going to sing it for me. From what I take of the lyrics, they simply mean unconditional acceptance and understanding of the one you love. I don't think it has to do with best friends per say because frankly "I don't care what they're sayin' As long as I'm your girl" So unless their lesbians as well as: "You've seen my secret garden Where all of my flowers grow" which i sort of take as having a double meaning. |
