I love this version. All he did was make the song slow, and it changes the meaning completely. I'm pretty sure its about an argument between him and Ariela, the girl named in the song. I think she's trying to talk to him, and he's trying to drown her out with music, and its upsetting him. |

To me, I see it as a boy missing another girl, who he is not currently with. "Toss and meet her arm" it sounds like he remembers he is not with his first choice, and it upsets him, because he wants to be in her loves arms, not in the arms of the girl he is with now. |

This song is truly amazing. Score at myspace for letting me listen to them. :]]] Its basically about a dead marrage, hence the line "Oh Yeah the sugar in my cup has lost it's flavor like your touch" He says how she leave, and he tries to say Im Sorry to see if she could try to take him back, but he gets no responce THe Run after her stanza would be him talking to himself, i would say. The "My lifes a rainstorm of I Love Yous" I miss you stepping int eh puddles" part is a metaphor saying he misses how she used to be in love with him. He misses being in love. The last part of the song woudl just be saying how he misses her. :]] thats what I get from the song. |
