I suspect the "prom queen disposable children" lyric is to mean that people die in such wars and they must be deemed disposable - like an unwanted, alcohol induced prom queen's child.
Can't see many other ways for it to be relevant... |

Also, the lyrics printed in the main article are correct... Stop having a moan, buy the actual CD instead of downloading stuff or using SHiTETunes and the lyrics will be printed there for you

its obviously a simpler version, which is probably why it was never a release or on an album (we all know how billy liked to be complex and layer guitar over guitar over guitar). but its amazing. the lyrics are so much better.
"when can we laugh and take all the credit
and know we'll go free"

oh dear alex. blasphemy is not *really* appreciated. so just because you dont fancy him, you can write completely unsupported, unsubstantiated crap about him? what are your points based on exactly? "he's rubbish and MUMMY I WANT ANOTHER LOLLY POP".
and im sure a few more people care about billy's opinions than they do about yours... |

Mogs, you ought to be shot. perhaps god does = god. but so does billy corgan. god = god = billy corgan. as proven by this incredible song preceeding many other amazing tracks on the, unfortunately, only album by Zwan |

| The Smashing Pumpkins – Crestfallen Lyrics
| 20 years ago

most of the album is related to his feeling about his mother dying from cancer while he was writing Adore. as we should all know, billy's leading cause and influence of his music, is love. he went into a big depression over his mother's death which is understandable, and probably inspires adore's mainly down/broken-hearted theme. although, where as Tear (track before Crestfallen) relates directly and obviously to the loss of his mother, crestfallen perhaps concentrates on billy's feeling of lonliness, excentuated by his mother's death.
he's my god. he's the foremost genius of the entire music industry, id like to challenge anyone who knows a more prominent genius than billy corgan. |

she died from cancer, but its definitely about his mother's death because his mother died during his writing of the Adore album. *very knowledgable* (and perhaps "geek"'y about william himself) |
