This song has to be one of my personal favourites. As i remember someone else saying before, the first three lines of the song often bring me to tears, as i know I've done this. She always amazes me with her lyrics. It's about starting afresh, from scratch without knowing what the future may hold and leaving behind all that you know, both good and bad. 'And I used to talk With honest conviction Of how I predicted my world I'm gonna leave it to stargazers Tell me what your telescope says' This part again, is one of my favourite parts of the song. It's realising what will be will be, because really and truly we aren't in control of anything, it really is left to fate to decide what will come of us whether its what we want or otherwise. |

| i have to admit that up until now i hated mariah carey, i really didnt think she was all that, but after listening 2 this song - god she is amazing!! its so easy to listen to this song and relate to bits of it ( if not all of it) i love it!! | |
