| I can't believe how fitting this song is for me right now. I think it's about a girl who's in love with a boy but she realizes that she has to let him go because it's unrequited. But "love is blind", so she can't really let go. | |

Anna Nalick talking about Paper Bag on her website: "I wrote all of them all by my lonesome...except for Paper Bag in which I obviously borrowed one or two Blind Melon lyrics "keep these cheeks dry today" and "I'm gonna have it made" ( I had personal permission of course)". So the Blind Melon theories are correct! |

| To MelancholyEuphoria this song along with Soldier, Drink Me, and a new version of Wreck of the Day are all on a new release of the album Wreck of the Day. There's the original version of WotD and the new one. | |

I love the lines: "Fall away to the sound of my heart to your beat Melancholy and cool, kind of bitter sweet Love on repeat" ( yes it's away, the lyrics are wrong). There's just something about that part that I love. |

I was wondering what people thought the line "And this wire around my neck ain't there for fun" meant. I understand the bottlecaps to be glasses, but I don't get this. Could it be headgear for braces? |

| Beth Hart – LA song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This may seem a little out there...but I think the song is a metaphor for suicide and then realizing not to do it. "She drank so hard the bottle ached And She tried (repeat 3x)" The girl first tries to numb her pain by drinking She's gotta gun (repeat 1x) Shes got a gun she calls the lucky one She left a note right bye the phone Don't leave no message cause this ain't no home And she cried (repeat 3x) She cried so long her tears ran dry Then she laughed (repeat3x) 'Cause she knew she was never comin' back She attempts suicide or at least contemplates it, "LA" is all the bad stuff in her life, but she has to go back there to deal with it. "Getting out of town" aka suicide wouldn't solve anything |

| I think the this song is about a girl who is finally getting out of a loveless relationship. "sparkle on my own". Maybe the man she was with was rich, and so he tried to keep her by offering wealth. "Diamonds". She's finally out on her own. | |
| Kelly Clarkson – Addicted Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| this song reminds me of one of the guys I had a crush on this year. We didn't really get along and he was a jerk, but I still haven't been able to get over him. This song also applies to a guy I had a crush on a few years ago. | |
