noel got the idea this way: while he was watching a documentary about Champagne, someone said to him "Surfer Rosa" (pixies song), but he mis-heard it for "Supernova", so he put the two together "Champagne Supernova", one of oasis best. if they had of released it it would be sooo outplayed.. |

its thier 3rd single, so like oasis were only starting off, noel is more or less just saying what he wants to do (i just wanna live/dont wanna die...) and is doing the opposite of the grunge scen attitude of wanting to kill themselves.. an awesone track, one of the best songs ever without doubt.. |
