A friend of mine got married and this was her wedding song! She knew the meaning was about abuse but she looked at it in a different way the first time she heard it. She thought you "can't find a better man" because he was the best one she could ever want like he was the best man in the world, and "she lied she's in love with him" because her feelings for him were so much more than love. I don't know, i think it's kinda crazy that she would want this to be her wedding song but i guess it's symbolic of something? |

What a song... when times get hard you have to take chances to survive. This might not be based on a true story but it is a good message. "now this world theres alot of self righteous hippocrates that call me bad and criticize momma for turning me out no matter how little we had..." Sometimes you just have to make sacrifices and take chances to survive which is what i think the song is about. |
