I actually used to watch the OC and totally forgot that this song was in it at all. But it makes sense, because I originally heard Twenty Two Fourteen on there, I do believe. The OC may not be a life altering TV show, but their music selection has always been awesome. This band is simply amazing. As previously stated, perfect blend of instruments. And the songs that do have vocals don't throw it off one bit. This song is a personal favorite. It's indescribable. |

this song is beyond amazing i agree with the two above me the line "i've built my guard up just as high" is just..so right. when someone puts their guard up you don't want to let yourself feel vulnerable. and the "here's my heart for you" is just so bittersweet. ah, just love this song. |

I don't agree with the lyric change the dude above me is suggesting lol. It's "faltered" But anyway. As previously stated, i LOVE the emotion in his voice in this song. In most of his songs really. But this song just has an extra kick or something! I absolutely love it. It's one of my favorites. And I absolutely LOVE "I kiss your neck, I feel you breathing on my shoulder" and the guitar riff right after it. And the girl's voice in the background. It's pretty much perfect. Soco just kicks everyone's ass. "How can you ask for me to stay when all you ever do is go? JUST GO!" LOVE THAT TOO. I'm done, I promise. |

The way that throughout the entire song he is telling her to stay away and not rescue him...and then at the end he says "Cause I'm feeling like I might need to be near you." ...is simply amazing.
