This song is ok. but I can't listen to it without FREAKING OUT at the chorus (is it the chorus?) "If I lay here, if I just lay here Would you lie with me, and just forget the world." LAY SHOULD BE LIE!!! It's correct grammar, and it doesn't change the meter or rhyme of the line. So it really should NOT have been a problem just to do it right. And the next line has it right, so my reaction is just this: wtf. |

So few comments for such a FANTASTIC song. Honestly, I don't know what it means, but there are some :lyrical gems: in this song. To me, the general feel is like.. slightly regretful, but looking to change, trying to move on from the past (bad relationship with someone who couldn't love because of their own past).. Love it. |

When I was younger and had no idea who the Rolling Stones were, this song came on the radio a lot. My bro and mom would sing the words, and I'd sing the "whoo whooooo" background part. So I guess that's why this is my favorite RS song.. Same here. I still do sing along with the "whooo whoooooo" parts, haha. Great song. |
