Hint of Simon n Garfunkles Mrs Robinson, It's another self indulgent rasp from Mr. D. I like his other shit, you know like the stuff with the Libs where he aint talking about himself. Observational philosphy is his strength. |

Why wasn't this on the album, or "Man who came to stay"? or "Gang of gin" would have a made a good album into a fantastic one. Oh well I wont grumble, summers nearly over. |

notuyourmate, I was'nt aware you were middle class and congratulations that you are. But why portray yourself as one spoilt mummy's credit card abuser who masturbates regularly over his sisters/aunts tennis playing 'associates etc.
sweetnspicy656, I never called this song gay, maybe you 'angrily' misunderstood as your preparing for a fight of your own?
Great song, they dont make them like this anymore. |

This song is a perfect example of putting together sentence after sentence, wherever they come from be it a quote from Lennon or whatever...put a melodic genius musical ballad type thing to it and hey presto..the oasis winning formular. Fantastic |

Its a song of great power definitely. I find myself interpreting this song in a similar fashion, its like hes approaching the finishing line with this 'wonderwall' female but he just manages to fall short or doesnt reveal its conclusion (ie a happy ending) but the song never gets depressing, just that these things happen in life however you interpret it and it's ok. Personally I can see Noel bored or out of it and staring at a wall for hours, and thought it would be funny to write a love song about his fascination with the wall hes been staring at. |

Thats the thing with all oasis best songs. Noel has a talent for writing songs that everyone from all walks of life can relate to. Nothings ever really clear what he is writing about, but theres plenty of messages and emotions that people percieve differently..I'd say this is his finest moment because theres no hint of influence and the chords are so simple yet original. |

'There aint no sense in feeling lonely, you got no faith in you' is one of my favourite oasis lines. This song certainly leaves you determined to get on with your life and stop dwelling on the past..with a renewed belief and confidence like coming back stronger and better. AWESOME |

a kid whos bunking school standing at a train station so hes in need of education. Then he mocks his Mother, as fishes are slippery, meaning dishes stressed out as its overflowing, but in true cocky kid style..'its all elementary' ;) Its for rebellious youths like they were i think. |

Lyla is a fantastic song that grows on you i think, but having heard the album it is about the 5th best song on there. Top tunes are 'The Importance Of Being Idle' and the Liam written 'Love Like A Bomb'. Though Andy Bell has wrote an unforgettable one in the opener 'Turn Up The Sun'. Best since Morning Glory and not that far off it. |

I think this song is Noel trying his hardest to tell the world his gay love for Gandhi, either hes dumb, or he just couldnt find the killer words? |

Oasis are back, having heard the album (yes i most certainly have) id say most anti oasis fans will be deeply suprised and all proper oasis fans will eat their own pants in sheer joy. |
