thats so weird you noticed that at this point in my life lol because i was realy high the other night, lying in my car and i just discovered this band due to Brand New (i love them...got the devil and god are raging inside me" tattooed on me...) but anyway i noticed it too, even if i was in and out of existence lol im glad someone else did too = ) brand new introduced me to a LOT of music and quite frankly i dont know how i survived without it like neutral milk hotel jesus lizard archers of loaf superchunk i had no idea these people existed |

...please explain how this album sounds any different like their last ones... "OHLOOKIMINSPACE!!!" every single effin song... these songs are too pathetically forced to be epic, it comes off as fake and naive all in one... now i used to listen to AVA back when they came out, 06 i think... and yeah i was amazing at first... but seriously, how is this an evolution by any means... |

i agree... I also really like "maddie bloom" but they havent posted any lyrics for it and i cant make out half of it... but i love it anyway = ) this song tho to me is about to ex lovers maybe? or maybe even old friends that go way back, almost like "the boy next door" and the whole "my girl(movie)" concept... im not real sure what kind of problems they are having tho... but its affecting the household |

this song seems to me like he found every single metaphor he could and crammed into one tongue twisting verse after another and i love every word of it but some of these lyrics are wrong, i mean, you did a pretty decent job over all, but instead of... "like a tropical wrist but i dont tally the meaning" its "like a chalkboard race, but i dont tally the meaning" chalkboard... tally marks... and i think its "as comfortable as wool, warm and naked..." not "comfortable and warm" now im just being nitpicky... but yeah this song... i dont see an actual meaning in it someone else? |

fghtffyrdmnsBANGKOK---- dude, i have the exact same feelings about this album... i love d&g, i tattooed that title to my arm haha... it really digs its claws in you, tears your soul apart, and puts you back together in all kinds of wrongs and rights... BUT yeah, i agree with the whole "mo" and "d&g" being very similar... not in just sound, but in feeling and concept... i think that "jesus" and "where have you been" are similar, in their epic scopes and subject matter... just the way its presented i guess... but yeah... youre not the only one haha |

well... this song is about a broken family to me is john his father or step father? a man named john is mentioned in many of their songs, it's trivial but i just wanted to know i come from a broken family, but i never really noticed because i was so young and looking at from the parent's perspective... it's gotta be hard... anyway |
