Before I ever heard the song my friends told me that it is about a goldfish that died, so I never doubted it, but now that circaofsurvival (an obvious fan, judging by the name) mentioned that it is about a drug addiction I would have to agree. Well done. |

This is the one song that brings back the most memories of my life. It has nothing to do about me and a girl, just me and my friends and how we loved this song when it came out. Loving it still, loving it always. Possibly the best song ever written. |

Personally I'm not a Slipknot fan, but I must show respect to this song. What it means to me is the following: Sometimes there is a girl in your life whom you love very much, but in truth you don't know her that well. Then one day you get to know her and realize that there could never be something between you because of the fact that you have imagined her to be somebody whom she is not. You have actually been in love with a girl that isn't real, but still you try to tell yourself that it is not true. All you need to prove yourself is one more reason for her existance, but in fact that reason will never come to you. Slipknot gained some respect in my eyes with a song like this. |
