Pretty sure all those people found hanging from their stairs or laying in a bath of their own blood would argue (if they were still alive) that people don't ALWAYS kill themselves by sitting in their cars and inhaling Carbon Monoxide. I love this song also. Amazing lyrics! "Don't be shocked that people die, be surprised you're still alive" By the way... I can't help it here... "God is worth dying for because he died for us before we even knew him." No he didn't... I'm pretty sure the Bible states it was in fact Jesus who died for us... God never died. Sheesh... I don't even follow Christianity and I know that... I don't follow any religion come to think of it... As for the part about who Cassie was. The event that this song is supposed to be about never took place during the columbine shootings. |

This Song relates to a situation I am in so well it's kindda scarey... I don't see the problem with this song. I'm a huge Jimmy Eat World fan, I'll agree that there is some of their stuff I know I won't like and don't like. This however, I do like. So it's poppy? It's just got a happy feeling about it. I'm usualy into Rock, Metal and Death Metal. This song doesn't fall under any of those, but i'm open minded. Maybe if people didn't complain whenever a band experimented and opened their minds a bit, music would evolve much better. Jimmy Eat World will always be my favourite band, they often do different things with their music and that's what helps make them so great. |
