incase you didn't know alot of rap and hiphop is not only about the beat of the song but also the actual content of the rap. the beat may be redundant in this song, but in a lot of eminem's songs the beat is anything but redundant. and most songs do have a similar pattern throughout the entire song. even rock music, or country music, when the same chords are played over and over throughout the song.
i love how people make comments about singers/rappers that they haven't even really heard, other than a few songs from one album.
also, bitching about the prices of albums isn't making them any lower, so please. |

i love this song so much.
it's about how she has been alone for so long, and has built up walls, but finally she met someone and slowly her walls are coming down, and she trusts this person. finally things feel right. it's about how she is falling in love and sharing her life with someone, instead of keeping her distance. but she still says "this land is mine." |

the music definitely fits the lyrics. this song is basically about how we (people) are always rushing and never really live before we die. and it's kind of self-explanatory that it is also about someone she still cares about and wants to see again. |

i think the "hours go by before she looks at me" is more about how she doesn't pay him any attention and isn't into him like he is into her. this song is beautiful. it flows together perfectly. |

well, chris can't sing like he used to anymore because of his throat. i'm not sure what happened but he physically isn't able to sing as aggressively as he did on the previous albums.
in reverie still has wonderful lyrics, it's way softer, but like oh_sometimes_nj said, they gradually slowed down.
i think oh_sometimes_nj prettymuch covered the meaning of this song. too bad it wasn't on the in reverie cd.. |
