| clearly this isn't about a terminal illness or a soldier going to war or bloc party going on tour or anything. i think you guys are reading way too much into this. there are some obvious implications of mental illness, but i think it's simply about a relationship turned sour like so many of you have picked up on. i think two more years is the time it will take for them to get over each other. someone commented that the two aren't bound by love anymore, but something more like concern or desperation or whatever else that so powerfully inclines you to stay with someone despite the destructive nature of the relationship. | |

Its definately my favourite Travis song, it has really uplifting lyrics, but at the same time i find it quite melancholy. Its totally beautiful though, the chorus makes me cry.
