| "Send the first kid down" is definitely Bill Cosby, and it might be from his famous chocolate cake routine. | |

Line 2 should read like this: "No one can trace, that no one can trace." |

| I wonder if RayMan knows that Greg Lake, the lyricist (and bassist), is a cynic and a devout atheist. He hates religion. This is a matter of record. But, don't take my word for it; listen to what he sings. | |
| Jethro Tull – Under Wraps Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Despite the criticism this album often gets, I love it. (I can find something good in every piece Ian Anderson has done. An incredible artist!) The album, Under Wraps, came out at a time when many bands were experimenting with the new cutting-edge technology of electronic music, synthesizers, drum machines, production effects, etc. Under Wraps, the song, comes across to me as a double entendre about love affairs and spy games, where trust is of utmost importance, yet is not always available as people and countries move to gain what they desire. The song is a prelude to the album's themes of romance, allegiance, loyalty, espionage, terrorism, political subversion and spy games. While the Cold War (USSR vs. the World) was the contemporary setting for these songs, the world has never had a shortage of such maneuvers and activities. |

| Yes – Roundabout Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
There are some close calls here on the meaning of Roundabout. But here it is for real: Jon Anderson said the song came about from a trip to Scotland. A roundabout is a traffic circle in Scotland. And near Loch Ness, fog settles in at the base of the mountains. They seem to come up out of the fog instead from the ground, so "Mountains come out of the sky" and stand there. |
