| As I Lay Dying – Behind Me Lies Another Fallen Soldier Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This seems like a very emotional one from the album. he feels what god gave us isnt even close to what he did for us. | |
| Nodes Of Ranvier – The World Lyrics | 21 years ago |

| Nodes Of Ranvier – Don't Blink (or we may miss it) Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This song is most definatly about the garden of Eden. and how things back then were perfect. then we let sin into the world.(but gone is the garden of perfection) So he kind of reflects on how bad our world has become. | |

| Nodes Of Ranvier – Oh yeah, well my daddy died with a needle in his arm Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I think its more of a metaphore on how modern day rock and roll is so corrupt with people like the one (heroin addict) he talks about above. And how when you take drugs they own you and how horrid it is to the family | |

| mewithoutYou – Torches Together Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
Why pluck one string? What good is just one note? Oh one string sounds fine I guess But we were once one note We weren’t lonely wheat Quietly ground into grain One light and momentary pain So why the safe distance? This curious look Why tear out single pages, When you can throw away the book? Why pluck one string when you can Strum the guitar? These lines had alot of depth with me if i really got what they meant. When he says why pluck one string when you can strum the guitar i think he means...in life why do whats just ok do what will be best. |

| mewithoutYou – January 1979 Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
After years with their crown on my head, I’m rolling over in bed unconcerned and comfortably numb kept busy indulging in the pleasures of the wealthy. Oh, someone make me afraid of what I’ve become. At the first sign of possible sorrow I’ll turn my heel and run. Oh, I’ll never learn Thats refering to people who will never know what its like to not be wealthy. he puts himself in the position of that person. it falls along the same lines as the chorus. We are told to be servants. Not to be indulgent and live like kings. |

| mewithoutYou – Tie Me Up! Untie Me! Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| But you untie me - didn't you untie me, lord? This line could be taken so many ways. Personally when you are living in sin it fells like you are tied up and arent going anywhere in your christian walk. | |
