Don't Blink (or we may miss it) Lyrics
the very idea of beauty died so long ago
but sometimes I catch a glimpse
at the call of your name or the touch of another's hand
I see this place as Adam once saw Eden
(and I see people as Adam once saw Eve)
but gone is the garden of perfection
(the dirt we've become, not the dirt we came from)
but sometimes I catch a glimpse
at the call of your name or the touch of another's hand
I see this place as Adam once saw Eden
(and I see people as Adam once saw Eve)
but gone is the garden of perfection
(the dirt we've become, not the dirt we came from)

This song is most definatly about the garden of Eden. and how things back then were perfect. then we let sin into the world.(but gone is the garden of perfection) So he kind of reflects on how bad our world has become.

I think there is more to it than that though, The fact is we will never be able to live life the way God intended life to be lived and we were sinning before we knew it. Every now and then though, we do get things right and see things for what they really are, but we will never be worthy, or pure. The Garden of Perfection is out of everyone's reach now.
yeah, the songs most likely about the Garden of Eden, but the title of the song sounds as if it's talking about the rapture..since the lord is coming back "in the twinkling of an eye" or so the bible says
