The Postal Service – Such Great Heights Lyrics 21 years ago
this song is clearly about a gurl he loves. He probably was seperated from her for whatever reason, a break up, a tour, for whatever, he wants her to hear that he still loves her. He thinks that it\'s destiny that they are to be together. What a moron.

The Get Up Kids – Long Goodnight Lyrics 21 years ago
I did an MP3 search for dashboard confessional and found this song. Probly has something to do with them touring together. Anyways, i hate every song by the get up kid's i've heard. except this one. This is a very good song. Sounds like he's talking about having an arguement and not caring about it anymore

yeah, this song was a perfect debut for chris. Kinda embodies the rest of his work to come in one song, ya know?

Dashboard Confessional – Hold On Lyrics 21 years ago
hah, this song rules
one thing Chris does well is catch the small emotions most people wont admit to
this is an example of that kind of emotion
it's such a simple song too
verse, chorus, verse, chorus
but sometimes thats all you need
as for the meaning of the song...
he's crazy about a gurl who doesnt care for him much
but he cant leave her, since he cares about her too much
yes i know, it's cruel
but whatever, he loves her and thats all he cares about

i love how everyone is so self centered that they thing the song is written about them
i also love how dashboard makes people think they are depressed and are sensitive

Dashboard Confessional – The Sharp Hint Of New Tears Lyrics 21 years ago
does anyone else get the connection between the line "this car hears my confession" and the name "dashboard Confessional". Dashboard is a part of a car, the part you look at when your sitting in the front seat.

Dashboard Confessional – Rapid Hope Loss Lyrics 21 years ago
chris went pretty main stream on this song.
little emotion in the singing
in all honesty it seems like the band is dragging down chris. C+

Dashboard Confessional – If You Can't Leave It Be, Might as Well Make It Bleed Lyrics 21 years ago
hah, cutting? thats hillarious. If anyone for the DVD with A mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar, it shows the recording of the song. He went into the recording studio with the line "what you found suprised you" or somethin like that, and when he started singing he said "What you found sure upset you" and then he just proceeded to ramble for the rest of the song.
in short, the song is just him ranting.
good song though.
really good.

Dashboard Confessional – Am I Missing Lyrics 21 years ago
Guys, thetroutscout hit it dead on, some of your explainations explain parts of the song, but his explaination says it all as a whole. stop debating it's about suicide, listen to the song and look for the refrences to the car crash! they're all there!

Dashboard Confessional – Ghost of a Good Thing Lyrics 21 years ago
I really dont think it's about an girl thinking about her ex-boyfriend. The line is "ghost of a GOOD thing" people are overlooking the good part. Why would that be good?
