This in reply to jop king's eloquently expressed statement.
"what the fuck is this, this is not music this is the kind of shite that belongs up against that crazy frog shit
end message........... "
In answer to "what the fuck is this" (btw you missed out a question mark...), "this kind of shite" is called music. I have only seen the bassist play a few times live, but i do know, being a cellist working on a diploma at the age of 16, he is extremely talented, and exactly the kind of musician that is needed to revive the desperate, perpetuating pop industry of today. The vocalist and guitarist is also a very good lyricist. His words complement the song and its meaning (btw this website is about song MEANINGS, not swearing and prejudicial abuse of artists).
The appalling generalisation of the Crazy Frog and nizlopi being in the same musical category is unfortunately unfounded. Yes, both artists have sold a lot of records through catchy singles, but the Crazy Frog does not have the depth, honesty and musical competence of Nizlopi and the JCB song. Yes, it is a song that most people like, but that's because most people are right in this case. It has sub-meanings of bullying, hurt and pain, but twists the story into something quite beautiful and innocent, as if the lyricist was actually five.
I sincerely hope you do not try to argue your case against mine and that of others because, frankly, you will fail.

ahh bless? u "pass" on this song? does it hurt ur little ear drums? try listening to feeder's routes and you may find that this song is classic. also being the last song the band played with the late and much loved jon, its got a lot of sentimental value for real feeder fans, who dont tend to "pass" songs... sorry. |

'bout an old relationship and grant finding his "feet back on the ground" but not wanting his friends to get hurt along the way with him. i guess i can relate in this instant. mark now sometimes does extended drums fills at gigs with this. its sounds so good. rock on feeder. \m/_ FEEDER _\m/ |

phonics are bck! woo! hopefully the tour will be december this year im guessing so that will be chunky, as it were lol. anyway, yeah, is it just me or is the line "so take a look at me now" remeniscent (or however u spelt it...) of "since i told you its over" cos i swear kelly says it at some point in that song, so im guessing that line in dakota is targetted at someone as Stuart... possibly... i dunno... just a thought _\m/ 0-0 _\m/ |
