yup, opiate withdrawal sucks. at least heroin has a short half-life compared to oxy, methadone, buprenorphine (in ascending order.) faster kick. |

i used to love this song when i was a teenager but i think it takes a little bit of age to get the full scope of this song. complete genius whether you're an artist, drug user, or a human who has the capacity to sit back and contemplate their position in life. |

I always thought he was saying "H is the one for me" but my ears have obviously decieved me. I think songs about unrequited love and heroin are fairly interchangeable.
"Gives me all need, helps me coexist" works for both love / heroin
"you make me sick because i adore you so" once physically dependent you'll get physically and emotionally sick unless you take another IV
"i love all the dirty tricks
and twisted games you play on me" in a self-masochistic way the lifestyle of waking up every morning needing a fix is a sensual existence
"you'll make us want to die
i'd cut your name in my heart
we'll destroy this world for you
i know you want me to feel your pain"
i think any junky can a relate to these lines. when i used to do heroin i would have sold off humanity for a hit when i was withdrawaling.
anyway the point is thats what i gravitated towards, and i'm not the type that tries to make every song about drugs but this one in particular has always stood out to me. just a thought. |

mackka: watch the music video for this song. if you've never done coke maybe you won't understand how the people are acting, but there's one point where Nick steps away from the microphone and there's coke all over his face if you look close enough |

Although I agree with Nerdy about this song being retarded, not all music has to be a masterpiece. Sure the lyrics are just inane drivel but I don't think the intention of the Ying Yang Twins is to release the next Sgt. Peppers. Different music has its place and as long as you don't take songs like this too seriously it can still be fun. |

This is definitely my favourite song on Picaresque, and it definitely has a cool cacophony towards the end.
Also, I'm pretty sure it's "for a trist in the greenery" which seems to make more sense. |
