I think it's about the president. Because it is. That's the end. There is no more to it. It's about the president. |

Nothing to do with anything but it makes me think of something from a demented western Ennio Morricone would have done the score to. |

Some people have to realize that they may have done drugs when they were growing up, the band members are all rather old. And those of you that say, "listen to the music they have to be on drugs" that is not a good assumption to make at all. For example the band Pink Floyd is known as being a "trippy" band but they were hardly ones to do a lot of drugs. Not to say they were perfectly clean, but they were not big on drugs. Their founding member Syd Barrett lost his mind due to massive amounts LSD. Just because you talk about drugs/ make references to them does not necessarily mean you support them either. As I have previously stated they may also be making references to things that happened as they were growing up. Not to say as of now they are completely clean, but I would like to get one thing across. Ænema is aimed at people who take things at face value, and to say that they are all on drugs just because their music is weird or trippy is making yourself just another target of their songs. |

| Tool – Schism Lyrics

Side note: This song has our bands favorite bass line ever outside of a few primus songs.
Anyways, the literal definition of Schism is...A formal breach of union within a Christian church. the seperation of christians who are supposed to be united. The word schism, which was originally spelled scisme in English, is traditionally pronounced (szm). However, in the 16th century the word was respelled with an initial sch in order to conform to its Latin and Greek forms. From this spelling arose the pronunciation (skzm). Long regarded as incorrect, it became so common in both British and American English that it gained acceptability as a standard variant. |
