im not sure it is about a relationship. maybe his sick of everything in his life? like lauradonaghy said feeling restless. from the blood in the mouth lyric and the doctor making it right it sounds like hes been in a fight. maybe hes bored of the people and the fights and his lifestlye of the place he is living. maybe he cant afford to move away from his home or family so he has no choice but to stay and is frustrated? |

To me it sounds like he finally had the courage to say to somone how he really felt about them, and the song is what they said back to him. The words she said to him are reverberating round his head, he cant get away from them or forget them. after he was tru about how he felt she told him he didnt actually mean much to her (he was just an easy ride) and that she is telling him to control his feelings cos however much you want me, she doesnt want to know. |

my favourite Damien song. the emotion is so raw you really feel his frustration and sorrow that his messed it up again. what do you think he means when he sings 'I was lover indeed, I was covered in weed'. I understand the lover aspect but why was he covered in weed?! |
