i saw wintersleep play last night @ the pavillion in halifax, ns. they released their new video and played a bunch of new stuff. at the end they turned on the lights but then everyone wanted more! sooo they played sore. and it was INCREEDDDDIBLE!!! this song is sooo amazing live. they were just incredible! |

this song is so amazing. next to a perfect sonnet its probably my fav. bright eyes song, it reminds me sooo much of my ex because i acutally said "i like your shoes" as the first thing i said to him...and lets just say he drank...a lot. haha so its so easy to relate to. god. ok. amazing. mad props to bright eyes. |

i kinda get it its like they're falling apart and he feels it and he knows its not all her fault but he sleeps easier blaming it all on her and their circumstances. and its like she would pick fights and he would push them off thats the whole "spent too many hours holding up walls
standing in corners and clenching my jaw" right? i think and also when he says "watching you watching the ones that I wanted to be" it's like there is someone else or other people for that matter that she notices...and she stands around and talks to them but he wishes she was tlaking to them.. and then i guess the relationship falls apart and he still wants her...despite their differences. its awesome though. i think FSF kicks asssssss. |

I WAS in a long distance relationship but it went horrible because he lived too far away. he was only like an hour and a half away but i wasnt allowed to go there and he could only come here on the weekends. plus the phonebills were up the ASS...try 700$ a month WITH a plan. it was rediculous. i still miss him butim happy with my boyfriend now :) i wish he lived here sometimes..hes an awesome guy. |

Yeah it's about having to deal with someone always holding shit against you - which would be a pain in the - - -. And you're right Cwilliams2k4...they do seem to get in the same situations alot but i think its more that they wrote the songs about a specific situation (girl) where things went wrong and there was guilt and stuff like in my eyes burn AND this song. you follow? |
