l've always felt that whether whoever the song is about, l'd always assumed it was one of the band members or someone billie was close to as l think he was the one who wrote it, it might have been 1st person or not... anyway thought whether the character has confirmed he's straight or bi or gay... the thing that takes to be a man is having the courage to be open enough to even allow yourself to explore the possibility... a lot of people will just live in denial forever but he wanted to know skeletons in your closet, usually are things always in the back of your mind that you dont want to think about and are maybe ashamed of, so that explains "Secrets collecting dust but never forget Skeletons come to life in my closet" coming clean would probably be how hes seeing himself in a different light now, and is able to admit to whatever he finds, and usually when someone embraces something as huge as sexuality, they can feel pretty liberated that they dont have to live a lie anymore. plus he admitted to being bi in interviews. |
