I believe it's riot queer, used in same context as riot grrrl. And in this instance it's queer as gay, and the band has made it quite plain that the song is regarding a friend that died of AIDS related illness and the larger HIV epidemic. |

Yeah I get the idea that after he got the courage to talk to her he then felt the whole world open up to him. He then wasn't so preoccupied with the one girl, "take your time...," I see the last two verses as a backing off after he's gained confidence in himself, I could be wrong but that's my take. |

So I guess I'm the only one who find this to be one of the most beutiful songs I've ever heard. Everytime is comes on I have to play it again. It also totally sets the mood better then anything for, well, yeah...Damn good song! |
