i agree with kyleandcambria, it kinda sounds like, from the lyrics, that this is the end of the story...but there's two things that make me think otherwise...one is that i keep hearing that there will be a Volume II of this cd, and THAT will be the end of the story...and also the little slide guitar thing thats at the very end of this track, which is really upbeat and kinda sounds like its leading into something more...and there's the sound of a dog barking at the very very end, which im guessing is Apollo...but im not making sense of this album as a whole just yet, i hope the graphic novel gets here soon! |

its an awesome song but they really shouldve done something other than the four minutes of random noises...thats my only complaint with the whole new album...on DITC the sections with noise were kept to a length that was short enough so that they wouldnt get really boring but they overdid it a little bit this time around |

im not positive so don't quote me on it...but i believe its about when his girlfriend had to have the abortion that he sung about in "Brick"...this song is about a sort of funeral he had for his child that was never born...i know that probably sounds wrong because the song seems too upbeat at some points...but im pretty sure thats what it's about it |

i think no one will ever agree on who has been the best singer so far...personally i think Chris had the best songwriting, Jason had the most powerful voice, and i liked the way Chadeous put it, Jon Bunch was the most sincere out of the three....all three albums are amazing though |

Kenny really does write some of the worst lyrics ive ever seen...ill admit theyre pretty tight as a band, but he also plays about two notes per measure, and yet ive heard at least four music reviews call his playing "Rock solid action on the bass" or some crap...now their new stuff sounds wayyy too much like days away....geez |

im not going to bash on ANYone who likes hawthorne heights...what you like is what you like and thats cool....but i just kinda think hawthorne heights is very bland....i heard them and all i could think was "whats so special about this?"....dont get me wrong, theyre tight as a band and its a lot better than some other stuff out there...but i honestly dont think theyre very original and their lyrics seem to fit into this kinda new cliche, things like slit my (insert body part here) and "kill me" in some way...thats just my opinion though, no disrespect to fans of the guys |
