this is definatly the best song off of morningrise although Morning rise is the best opeth cd in my opinion...this song is just so freakin awesome its got crazy crushing guitar, melodic guitar and voice and all the parts are different but relate somehow in my opinion its a masterpiece |

i thought this was a concept album about the "moors" melinda hence why half of the songs on the album have to do with her opethnet.com says"Someone who is banished from a certain place returns for his old love, Melinda, to find her "promise is made" and she is now pledged to someone else. They get back together for one night. He awakens to find her "ripped from his embrace". sounds right to me |

But like dying said opeth could be western-funk-soul-goth-countrywestern-mo-core-metal and they would still rock mine and anyones socks off. Opeth is my fave band they have been from the beggining and this is one of my favorite songs by them and yes as usual this song (in my opinion) continues with Mikaels theme of love lost and dealing with it even after shes gone. |
