this song isn't about weed, it's about a break up. those bootlegs were probably about smoking weed, but this version of it is not. it's about a break up, anyone with eyes could see that. the thorn in his side is the pain of the break up. ugh, that's stupid you wouldn't use a huge ass needle. eh, it's pretty good. i like it. i like the chorus, our love is real, as real as the flowers you smoke to get high. i guess if your a smoker then i guess it's a perfect simile for your love. this song means a lot of things to me. i got this CD b/s i watched this skate video (girl, yeah right) and perfect was on it. well then i heard annie-dog. i couldn't get over his voice. it didn't sound like him at all. but there's just something about this song that's just good. i don't think this song is about courtney love, billy corgan is to good to write about some dumb whore. but i think he is writng about how mother's don't take responsibility for their children. or something like that. Smashing Pumpkins songs are not meant to be understand. there just there, and we listen to them. not much to understand. <3 nell |
