Coe is not a racist (you can watch him play certain shows with an african american drummer), although he certainly has never shyed away from using racial slurs and extremely vulgar language. The slur is used in the context of a poor southern white family... The only reason it seems offensive is because its coming from the mouth of a white man. If he were black he would be considered a racist for using the slur "white trash" in the song. |

Can't believe that no one has commented on this yet. This is one of Skynyrds best songs. Im not sure, but i think it could be a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, one of my favirote bands ever. |

maybe this was recorded when billy became a christian, at first glance i think it may be saying something posotive about Jesus, but maybe this is before he became a christian, and its saying something negative, im not really sure. |

Wow, those are some sick lyrics. I know the band isn't serious about this shit, but i can't believe that they would even think of writing something like this. I'm not a big fan of death metal, just opeth and edge of sanity, but they never write shit like this. The lyrics suck, so does the music. |
