im nto good at finding out the meanings of songs and hotwires's lyrics seldomly make sence to me most of the time. but i think this song bascially is haveing a girlfriend who starts to change socially in a relationship and listening to what her new 'friends' have to say about her boyfriend, breaking them up and weither she knows it or not she still wants him and he wants her. yes this is the Incubus we know and love, not that heavy metal band. If you listen to this song and have it confused with them, your ignorant. For the meaning im not sure about the verses, but the chorus is fairly straight forward. This is one of my favorite incubus songs, dont know why they never put it on a album. |
