i love this song, and i agree with a lotta people here and what they think. this is what it means to me.(this is just my opinion so please dont take it the wrong way or anything if u dont agree). Well, in the music video, the girl seems cut off from the world, everyone moving round about her, never making contact. She's different. So they don't take any notice of her. She tries to fit in, and just cant, and the bit at the end when the butterfly dies. well i think thats kinda significant because its like, she finally has something that she can keep and it wont move away from her. The part where all the members of the band show up and appear to put on their own faces, while the girl puts on a mask, i think this means that they arent going to hide behind a mask they wont let everything build up inside of them. Where as the girl, she is doing the opposite, she is putting on a mask and hiding behind it.
It could also be the band trying to communicate with their fans, telling them that their music isnt supposed to make u feel cut off from society, or lonely, its supposed to help. I dont think my take on the song is actually anything remotely like what corey intended it to be, but well...its what the song means to me. |

i think i agree with Incarnate. about the whole reincarnation - cycle - circle thing. i think the most obvious line that supports this is "all of my endings are waiting to begin." great song. great album. |

im listenin to Vermillion pt2 just now and it just makes me feel so sad. i think the first part, Vermillion, is like having a love, and this part is losing or lost a love. But i dunno. Woo, im going to see slipknot in october. this is my favourite album out of all the slipknot ones coz of ...well...listen to circle then pulse of the maggots. its the difference between the songs in the album i love. |

i thought this had something to do with stalking...coz my best friends ex, well his second name sounds like stalker and thats what we all call him. hes a fucking psycho and wont leave her alone. when i here this song, all i can think about is him going mental at her.

this was the first time i ever heard of queen adreena, and i was like "woah i must by her album" so i did. this song kinda makes me feel good about myself coz i've got "flaming locks of auburn hair" and "eyes of emerald green". I dont think i steal other peoples guys tho. Great song. |

im not sure what the songs actual meaning is, but it makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. its strange. no other song can make me feel like that. and it always reminds me of when i was sitting on the balchony in ibiza, all by myself, just watching the big blue sky and listenin to this song on my headphones. And the part that says "todays the day, that i become the sky" almost brought me to tears. So i think i could agree with PrettyLittleRosie in that i think this song is about a relief. Like,it would be such a relief to die. |
