It doesn't matter how much he hates him, its not going to change the war. What the hell should we have done over the 9/11 tradgedy? Nothing?
This song is about a soldier who goes to war and dies. Plain and simple. However, Randy believes that what the soldier was fighting for were lies instilled in him from some other source. (Most likey the Gvnt.) |

Bah, lets not get political here. I'm all for Bush but I'm a huge Lamb of God fan (Got the poster signed by all of em and the new cd signed at ozzfest 2004 NC !!) I think the song is about how the country is full of those who conform to a belief instead of thinking for themselves. This would include both those for AND against bush. What Randy wants you to do is think for yourself, thats the point. War will always continue as long as someone has the power to creat violence. |

Hmm, actually now looking at it again and comparing the lyrics to the title it may be talking about a terrorist. Tymothy Mcvay could be the down south soldier he's talking about. Third world is obvious (Osama perhaps?) The rest is about death. |

I believe this song is a description of death. If you look he mentions 2 soldiers, not just 1. Ones obviously from the south, the other is from a third world country. This song is about what deaths job is in a war, most likely that occuring in Iraq. And yes Virginia is considered the south. |
