| I know people love Usher, and think he is a great person and all that, as every1 has their own opion. Now I will be sharing mine, so don't be hating because i single out some truths here. One for all, at the beginning he says he's a 'true playa', well its common knowledge that if somebody calls thimself a player, then they in fact are not. Also he did play around with some1, then got them pregent. Ouch! Totally boyfriend material right there. CHEATER! JERK! Then he uses the 'n' word... well there goes what all african americans/ african canadains have faught so bravely for. Thanks Usher, great job there fighting for people's rights. And also for the record, his dance moves aren't all that great, and I feel he falls bakc on his good looks and abs way too much, and shoudl try showing us some true talent. | |

I persoanlly luv Ashlee Simpson. I think she's a real artist with some real talent. And I have something to say to all those people bashing her because she lip synced once. First of all lots of artist to it their eintire carrers instead of actually singing *cough, Britney, cough*. Secondly lots of singers have admitted to 'pipping' in pre-recorded tracks for large sporting advents. Like come on, its the national anthem, you should be able to know the words, as many of thsoe artist are afraid of forgetting. Singing the US natioanl anthem is a big honour I persumbe, as I'm CDN, and don't really know. But from what I can tell of American's saying how great and such theri country is.... just learn the words for it. Also, she messed up on SNL. Let me tell you... its been slipping the last couple of years.... so the pubicity defintiy helped out SNL. They got U2 the next week, b/c U2 wanted to prove their are true singers out there. Bless U2, there great, but no way would have SNl ever have gotten them without Ashlee's little mistake. Hopefully this makes sense and its totally off topic. |

This song is really good, and latelly I've heard it being played alot on the radio... YAY! :) Anyways when I was listening to it today, I really listen to the words and thought what the song meant to me. And I believe this song is about a guy cheating on his girlfriend. ------------------------- "I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh" -He's praising her "I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away" -He wants her to stop feeling pain for what he's done "I keep your photograph; I know it serves me well" -He holds on to it to remind him of the good old times, before he cheated on her "I wanna hold you high and steal your pain" -He wants her to be his girl, and forget the pain he's caused her "Because i'm broken When i'm lonesome, And I don't feel right, When your gone away," -He's not the same since she's left and they've 'broken' up "You've gone away You don't feel me, Anymore" -She's left him, and doesn't feel for him. Oh true love. So that's my interpetation of the song. A coulpe going through some difficultes and realise that theyre better off together, even though its not perfect, they feel like themselves and and truly happy. |

I like GC as a band, their okay. But I must point out something that's bugging me for a long time. In their music their all like, 'let's be different and ourselves', but hey.. they all look the same. Everyone's acting and dressing like each other. Also there sort of trying to make fun of prissy, peppy kind of people. But some of those people aren't like the stereotype... its not far to judge someone by how they look... just like how GC doesn't wnat to be 'labeled' as something. ???? Hum...
