He isn't a cheat. This is a fictional song about a protagonist who is burdened with the consequences of adultery. Usher had his first child in the winter of 2007, this song/album was written in 2004. It is a beautifully crafted tale of an individuals regret and subsequent struggle to adapt to the new life he's destined to embrace due to his actions.
This is a great soft beginning to a song but it isn't one i'd listen to all the time, I'm sorry Usher fans.
