k each time i read a comment about the different meanings of this song...i can see how each of them can fit. and for the longest time, i thought it was about the end of a relationship that wasn't working out. but now, as i'm listening to it, and thinking about my own situation, i can also see it interpreted as a couple who wants to be together, but they're being forced apart, unwillingly, as their time together slowly ends. however, whatever way it may be interpreted, this is an amazing song, and although it brings back vivid and bittersweet memories, i love it. |

yeah, this is an awesome song. personally...i think the part.. "There's never gonna be a moment of truth for you While the world is watching" ..means that they're never honest with what they're feeling with others around. they're acting happy so others wont know that they're sad. and hiding it doesnt make it better...so he says "All you need is the thing you’ve forgotten And that's to learn to live with what you are" |

| At first I was thinking this was about someone he once knew and he was visiting her..but when I read someone's thought about it being about rehab, I think I agree with them. "your palms are sweaty and I'm barely listening to last demands" "I'll wear my badge: a vinyl sticker with big block letters adherent to my chest that tells your new friends I m a visitor here: I am not permanent" "a stranger with your door key explaining that I am just visiting" are all lines that make me want to lean more to the rehab idea. but thats the beauty of music, you decide what the song means to you, and it can be completely different to the person next to you. | |
