yeah, the album is about SP and it is also based around the dali painting Sleep Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate, One Second Before Awakening. on a side note, i *will* travel to Madrid one day to see that painting.

essentially, a song is open for any type of interpretation. however, what i got out of this one was this: following the theme of the rest of the album, it revolves around overcoming loneliness and/or moving on after a relationship. this can be seen in weak and powerless, vanishing, the outsider, etc. i agree that the song is about an addiction to drugs--which does not make it a bad or typical song, terraryzin. also, when placed amongst the rest of the songs on the album, the drugs can also be seen as whatever method he is using to pull through his depression; whatever he is using to delude himself. |
