Maybe about a girl who he loves and claims she loves him back but he never sees it, only echoes or reflections of his own love for her. She puts these unfair and impossible expectations on him ("walk with you between the rain drops") but he tries his best anyway because he loves her. Stretching it a bit, maybe she complains that nothing ever goes her way, that nothings ever good enough but really "rain falls on everyone". She's always looking for something better and can't see the love she has. |
