i found the meaning of the song in an interview done with Tim guitarist from underoath...it is as follows: Tim: Its a fictional/non fictional story of two people engaging in sexual activity given the knowledge that thats not what they should be doing at the time. Its basically two christian or two people in general who have a certain set of morals they have set for themselves. And are at the point of breaking those and all the things that go through your head and the decisions you make when you decide to turn your back on what youve set for yourselves and go through with it. As the song progresses its kinda like the repercussions of it as well. If you read the lyrics its like boy, and then the conscience that is speaking to him. And its kinda a war in himself to figure out what’s right and he has some repercussions that end up pretty badly. |

first of all i'd like to say i love old underoath second of all i'd like to say i love new undeer aoth third of all i'd like to say i despise the comparission to taking back sunday honestly listen to taking back sunday and they aren't all that talented underoath is talented they have a poppy sound now but that doesn't take away from there talent they have alot better drums then normal poppy screamo bandas they have really good keyboards they scream more than any taking back sunday song and whoever said they lost there christiantiy in the lyrics is a fool...cause i know what alot of these songs are about and they all have heavy faith based messages... i think thats all i have to say besdies go listen to i dont feel very receptive today |

killer song definetaly open for interpertation but this song is prety clearly religeous foucsued the video is this guy looking bakc at some bad things in his life and realizing that light he could run too great song honestly i think this is there best album to date not ground breaking new materical but very solid jon is more sincere then chris or jason hopefully who wont just selfishly ditch the band like the aforementioned artists chris can go put his hands down and vindicate himself for alli care |
