i think that he messed up bad in the relationship but she still loves him. and he still loves her but he knows the realationship cant work out. since he still loves her he wants her to be happy and he'll do anything to make it better for her.
"i think the blood in my veins" part means he cant physically live with out her.
and also he sneaks into her room and messes around with her making it harder for her to get over all of it "sneak into your bed pour salt on your wounds" |

i think that the "poison that spurts from the throat" is equivilent to the "gossip." the gossip that comes out of your mouth hurts others just like poison coming from your mouth would virtually do the same thing. |

yeah i really really dont think this is about a car crash, at all. i think its just about a day he spent with a girl who was special to him. and that day basically surmises their relationship. hes looking back on the day in reverie. and when hes talking about the scars i think hes talking about the scars and pain that he's left with when the relationship is over. |

ok guys... i really have a totally different opinion. i think the song is simpler then everyone here is thinking. and id also like to comment that not every song is about a lost love. cause it seems like everyone on here trys to strech so that every song is about "this girl that broke up with him whom he doesnt want to forget blah blah blah..."
ok but i think the song is just plain sarcasm. i think that he hates the person that he wrote the song about and hes using simple sarcasm and saying you're the good things and comparing them to a bad situation.

like yeah, you're a good thing... you keep me up when im trying to sleep, like that, ya know? and then it just proves that he hates them even more when hes saying ill help you dig your grave because you'll be speaking my language... aka he likes the idea of that person digging their own grave. |
