I really can't help but think that this song is god related. Even if it's just for "In all my bitterness I ignored All that's real and true All I need is you" and the line "(I fall into your abounding grace)". But, I don't see why it can't be about trying a relationship, and trying to plead with someone who she's mistreated to take her back. But yeah, each to their own, I'm not exactly good at interpreting songs but I'd probably go with the 2nd version because I'm not religious. |
