  • Basket le Kaki

    by TheIntimindator27 on September 27, 2010
Hey everyone, I'm coiming up with a new sport. I'm in a marketing class right now, and I just got on here since we're working on the project now. It's called "Basket le Kaki." It combines Basketball, Football, and Hockey. I did have Lacrosse, but I got rid of it. Oh well, the sport should be cool. I just really got bored since none of us in class are working on anything. We're just talking about how many interceptions Brett Farve has thrown and foot casts and flash flood warnings.

  • Events (second half from 2006-2010)

    by TheIntimindator27 on September 12, 2010
Alright, now I'm going to finish my list of biggest events in the 21st century (2006-2010). 2006: On July 11th, 2006, seven bombs were planted in the Suburban Railway in Mumbai (Bombay), India and later detinated. It killed 209 people and injured 714. North Korea conducted its first nuclear test on October 6th, 2006. 2007: The Fatah–Hamas conflict started in 2006 as a result of the death of Yasser Arafat. 98 civilians were killed, 1,000+ wounded, and 600 killed in fighting. 2008: The 2008 Mumbai attacks occured in November of 2008. There were 175 deaths (166 civilians and security personnel and 9 attackers) and 308 were injured. 2009: Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States and the first African American President. North Korea conducted its second nuclear test in 2009. 2010: Polish President Lech Kaczyński, along with 95 other passengers, were killed in the 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash on April 10th, 2010. 2010 hold one of the worst earthqakes of all time. It occured in Haiti on Tuesday, January 12th, 2010. It was a 7.0 M/W, killing 230,000 people. 2010 also holds one of the strongest earthqakes ever recorded. It occured in Chile off the coast of the Maule Region. It was between an 8.8 and 9.5 magnitude. There were 521 identified fatalities; 56 were/are missing. That's all, really. If there are any more, leave a reply. Cheers.

I never followed up with anything in the previous journal, #8. I know that today is 9-11, 9:44 PM is the time where I am. I don't have anything to do, so I was going to write down some of the biggest events in the 21st century. I'll add some information too. 2000: The first biggest event, in my opinion, was the United States Presidental election in 2000. It was between Al Gore and George Bush. George Bush got less votes than Gore, but Bush ended up winning the election, being the 43rd President of the United States. He was inaugurated in 2001. 2001: One of the worst events in history: The terrorist attack in New York/Manhattan, New York on September 11th, 2001. The whole event started at 8:46 AM. It was a regular day, just like any other. Then the unthinkable happened. Apperently, nineteen hijackers took control of four commercial airlines en route to San Francisco and Los Angeles from Boston, Newark, and Washington, D.C. Then, at 8:46 AM, American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower (the North Tower collapsed at 10:24 AM after burning for approximately 102 minutes). At 9:03 AM, United Airlines Flight 175 struck the South Tower (the South Tower collapsed at 9:59 AM after burning for approximately 56 minutes). Then, at 9:37 AM, American Airlines Flight 77 struck the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. At 10:03 AM, United Airlines Flight 93 crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania after starting a fight with the hijackers. This was either an attempt to strick the Capitol or the White House in Washington, D.C. In the end, there were 2,966 deaths, including the nineteen hijackers and 2, 977 victims. Hopefully nothing else this bad will happen again for a while or forever. As a result from this, it started the Invasion of Afganistan. 2003: 2003 holds one of the biggest shuttle disasters in history, which was the Space Shuttle Columbia Disaster. It killed all of the crew on board (Rick D. Husband, William C. McCool, Michael P. Anderson, Ilan Ramon, Kalpana Chawla, David M. Brown, and Laurel Clark). 2004: George Bush was re-elected for President of the United States. 2005: George Bush was inaugurated in 2005. This year also hosts one of the worst Hurricane Katrina. It was a Category 5, and one of the Top 5 Most Deadliest Hurricanes ever recorded in history. 1,386 deaths were confirmed. It was also the most costliest hurricane in history as well. I will continue the second half later, from 2006 to 2010. 10:31 PM, cheers.

Wow, haven't posted any journals for a while. It's 7:27 AM. Nothing too much happening now, but school's coming up. I have to leave in 15 minutes. I'll type as much as I can. I didn't really have anything else better to do, so I just decided to catch up with journals. I've been going to school now for almost 3 weeks. Some other schools and college have started around today's time. I guess. I have some friends in different time zones, like Las Vegas, that just started to go back. I'm not sure why it works like that, everyone starting at random points in the year. Most people probably would say they hate school and it sucks, but this year for me is actually enjoyable. Excluding all of the homework I get, it's still pretty fun. Being a sophmore and all, it's off to a hard start. I don't care, as long as I do good and still keep a high GPA and stuff. Some people at our school are REALLY smart and have perfect 4.0 GPA averages; oh well. I don't care. I've been on SM and Youtube a lot doing random crap. I paused for a minute; I'm slowly getting ready to drive to school (I have my permit, not license). It's fun though, I always find random videos to watch on Youtube and I'm always trying to add more lyrics onto this website, too. Right now I've posted 427 lyrics, I think. I might get a Youtube account in the future; I'd love to have something like that to post my songs and singing on there. Also my ghost hunting investigations; I'd think that's cool. I've seen some funny and cool things on Youtube, and some funny people. shanedawson is pretty cool too. I'll write some more later for this journal after I get back from school. 7:40 AM, Cheers.

  • Wesley Riddle

    by TheIntimindator27 on August 19, 2010
Okay, so my real name is Wesley Riddle. I am a music writer, music performer, music singer, and a small bit of a choreographer. I am now an artist for this site. I submited my lyrics just a few minutes ago and I hope they will be accepted. It said to notify the forum, but I don't know where I would do that. So I'm doing it here. I'm trying to get a band formed, and hopefully get a concert tour set up around Virginia, US. I love to write music, so hopefully I can keep doing so. MaoMao27 and I are currently working on our first cd, "DEMO 1." It will have my first three songs ever on it. Then we will try to borrow a professional recording studio and work on making my first album, and hopefully my biggest, "Living the Dreams." I will eventually have 15 songs on that album, including the lyrics I submitted. If anyone has any questions about my music and start-up career, I'll be free to answer. And please do. I'd really appreciate it.

10:25. It's not too late. Yet. I'm going to bed as late as I want tonight since I don't have to work tomorrow! The reason is because Matthew and another man that works for The First Tee, Randy, are going to a camp for kids that has parents in the military. I think it's near Richmond, VA. I was going to go with them, but I have the choir thing at my school at 6:00 PM tomorrow, which is sort of not a good time. And that's because they don't have any idea what time they're getting back, so there would be no way for me to get back, since they can't drop what they're doing and take me home. I wanted to do it, but I can't. It'll be alright, since I can relax all day tomorrow. Yay! Today started out simple. Same leaving time, same arrival time. Today four different schools got together for a match at the golf course, which our school was one of them. I know everyone on the team, and then some other people on different school teams around. Matthew, and then the PGA Pro Dave, and me watched them tee off. About every shot was good, and about four people hit a really suckish tee shot. It was okay though. Out of 30 kids, that's not too many. Then we headed up to the office, did a few things. We got some of the stuff ready for tomorrow's camp. I would of had to been at the golf course at 8:10 AM to leave, but at least now I can sleep in a wee bit. The equipment is called "snag" equipment, or "snag" golf. It's because instead of using actually clubs and really golf balls, we use plastic golf clubs (which also indicate how to hold the club) and, I guess, tennis balls. Different colour ones. It took about 20 minutes, and also my back. It really hurts. Then we were waiting to go to lunch, but then a friend, Ethan, came buy and wanted me to play a little bit with him. So as soon as I left, Matthew and Randy went with two other people out to eat to some restaurant called "Pennybackers." A sandwhich shop. I only played a few holes, because my back was in a lot of pain from the snag equipment and carrying my golf bag. It's still sore and in a wee bit of pain as I'm typing. Then I was locked out of the building. When I got up their. There are two buildings. The pro shop and the learning center, for The First Tee. I was locked out of the learning center. For 45 minutes. So I took a little nap in a golf cart underneath our pavilion. It felt good since it was nice out and shady. They came back later, then I got inside. We did a few more things, then took a little break. Then we had a class at 4:00 PM, over at our short course. We headed out there with our equipment, but then my mother called and said she was coming to pick me up. I totally forgot that I had to get home at 4:30 PM, take a shower, eat, then leave to the school for the singing event from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Just kidding, PM. After eating and leaving, I drove to the school. A decent drive, about ten minutes. For me. Other people always zoom right past me, speeding. I didn't care though. We are singing some pretty cool songs this year, like "Praise His Holy Name," "Cindy," "Five Hebrew Love Songs," and "Twa Tanbou." All really good. "Cindy" and "Twa Tanbou" are very challenging. I like challenges! Very good time today. Tomorrow it's only from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. I forgot why, but I don't care or mind. 10:49. Currently, I'm watching "The Colony" on Discovery. This has been a really good episode. My favorite so far. I'm not sure what day they're on out of the 50 days since I've been typing. It's going off in the next ten minutes. I don't feel like writing anymore for tonight. So 10:51. Me signing off for now. Cheers.

2:52 PM. I took the test today and I got my permit. Exciting! I was glad I was able to get it. I was really nervous this morning, I thought that I might hyperventilate. It was scary, but I did it and hyperventilate. Yay! Okay, so I drove home afterwards. It was fun; a few small mistakes, but it was alright. Tonight I have a choir camp. It should be fun. Seeing old facing from 2 and a half months ago, maybe even new people. I forgot if new people are coming in or not. I keep stopping at typing because I'm talking with my other work-buddy, Randy. Nice guy. Around his 60s, but really cool and hilarious. This coming Saturday, I am teaching my first two classes. The first class is from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM, which I'm doing alone, and then the second class is from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM, which I'm getting help with by the head PGA pro here, David Johns. Really funny. I've known him since 2002. Since The First Tee started here. The first class has four students and the second class has six. Also, with the first class, I've had their class before. And then the second class, I know 2/3 of the people. So at least I won't feel like I'm doing a bad job. 3:14 PM now. I keep stopping and talking. I forgot, I have class at 3:30. Actually, not forgot. Just didn't remember. I didn't know time was so close. Four students already came in, then another girl who's name is Angie Lopez, who is making me want to watch George Lopez right now. Funny. It should come on tonight. I get back from the choir camp at 9:15 PM, so it might be on when I get home. Or at 10:00 PM; I really like that show. I've really started to drink a lot of Powerade Zero, with an "Advanced Electrolyte System." The drinks helps replenish four electrolytes lost in sweat. Quite fancy! It has a lot of sodium though. I would probably like it more if it had less sodium, just for health. I can't taste any little bit of salt flavor. The flavor I have now is Strawberry. It's good! I think I better go now. I didn't write as much as I usually write; I will try to write some tonight. 3:21 PM. Cheers.
